Role Summary

The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational functions of ABS within an assigned region, including therapy center operations, staffing coordination, case coordination, human resources processes, facility safety, and regulatory readiness.

This role provides direct oversight and support to regional administrative personnel and serves as a primary liaison between regional operations and organizational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational guidance to HR personnel, Staff Coordinators, Case Coordinators, Clinic Coordinators, and other assigned administrative staff.
Monitor staff performance, assigned responsibilities, reports, operational deadlines, and corrective action needs.
Facilitate communication between clinical and administrative teams to address barriers affecting client services.
Oversee daily administrative and operational functions across assigned regional offices and therapy centers.
Conduct regular site visits to evaluate operational readiness, safety, supplies, facility conditions, and adherence to agency procedures.
Ensure centers maintain adequate supplies, equipment, emergency materials, PPE, and resources needed for safe operations.
Support safety, emergency preparedness, infection control, facility checks, and continuity of operations.
Coordinate with Human Resources on recruitment, hiring, retention, workforce planning, employee relations, and policy implementation.
Oversee referral, eligibility verification, intake, onboarding, staffing, scheduling, authorization, transition, discharge, and post-discharge workflows.
Support continuity and coordination of care when staffing, insurance, scheduling, transitions, or operational changes affect client services.
Assist with payroll, timesheet verification, expense reporting, purchasing, and administrative documentation.
Maintain readiness for licensing surveys, regulatory inspections, payer audits, accreditation reviews, and internal audits.
Identify trends, risks, recurring barriers, and action plans, then provide leadership with regular regional performance updates.
Support communication with commercial and Medicaid payers, credentialing, contracting, vendors, referral sources, and community partners.
Serve as the primary operational escalation point for significant regional administrative, staffing, facility, safety, and service coordination concerns.
Participate in planning and logistics for ABS conferences, job fairs, community events, and outreach initiatives.

Compliance and Operational Duties

Follow mandated reporter requirements and report suspected abuse or neglect to appropriate authorities.
Follow procedures for reporting incidents, accidents, and deaths according to company policy and regulatory requirements.
Maintain compliance with Office of Inspector General guidelines and report suspicious activity when required.
Report incidents involving client rights, harassment, discrimination, health, or safety concerns.
Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
Complete documentation within established timeframes and follow company policies for communication and time off requests.
Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Remain flexible with working hours and willing to travel to different locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support, office coordination, or operational support.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based platforms.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and comply with data privacy standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in healthcare, education, or ABA clinical environments.
Familiarity with Medicaid documentation, billing processes, or insurance verification procedures.
Prior use of HR, scheduling, or billing systems such as CentralReach, ADP, or Zoho.
Spanish bilingual proficiency.
