Coffee, Donuts & a Little Thank-You

In honor of Family Caregivers Month, ABS therapy centers will welcome parents and caregivers at drop-off with fresh coffee, donuts, and our heartfelt thanks.

Stop for a cup, choose a treat, and take a moment for yourself before the day carries on. Available at participating ABS therapy centers during morning drop-off.

Craft Day: Who's Ready to Talk Turkey?

Join us for a Thanksgiving craft as children design a colorful turkey headband they can personalize and proudly wear.

Along the way, they'll practice making choices, following steps, using fine-motor skills, and showing off their creativity.

A Little Feast Before Thanksgiving

At ABS therapy centers, children and staff will gather around the table for an early Thanksgiving dinner, with chicken and turkey provided by ABS.

Staff are welcome to bring a side dish, dessert, or another favorite from home. Every contribution is welcome, and bringing a dish is completely optional.

SARRC Grandparents Support Group

Grandparents carry a special kind of love, and often a unique set of questions. This in-person gathering offers a place to meet others who understand the journey, learn from autism professionals, and gather practical ideas for supporting both a grandchild and the family around them.

Storytime, with Room to Move

At this storytime, children can listen, move, repeat, and participate in the way that works for them. Softer lighting, lower-volume music, books, and flexible activities create a more welcoming library experience for young children with neurodivergent or sensory needs.

Location: Gateway Library, Mesa

Kinetic Program Room

Space is limited. Free tickets are distributed 30 minutes before the program begins.

Sensory Friendly Dinos in the Desert

If your child loves dinosaurs but finds their sounds or movements overwhelming, this morning at the Phoenix Zoo may be a good fit. During these hours, the exhibit's dinosaur motion and sound effects will be turned off, giving families a calmer way to explore together.
