Our Year-End Reflections, 2025

By: Cristina Martínez M.B.A, M.S, BCBA, LBA Coauthor: Ariadna Martin MS

As we close out the year at American Behavioral Solutions (ABS), we’re taking a moment to reflect on what mattered most: people. Every goal met, every new program launched, every new team member trained—none of it exists without the families who trust us and the professionals who show up each day with care, consistency, and clinical excellence.

This year, our growth has been especially meaningful because it has been guided by purpose. Expanding into additional states has allowed us to get closer to more families and reduce barriers to support. For us, growth is not about being bigger; it is about being more accessible. It is about meeting families where they are, guiding them through the ABA framework of knowledge and practice with clarity, and ensuring they feel supported from the very beginning through each step of treatment.

Another highlight this year has been the birth and continued growth of the ABS Community project, created with the belief that support should extend beyond therapy sessions. Families need practical strategies that fit real routines, trusted spaces where questions are welcome, and a sense of connection along the way. ABS Community has grown into a place where caregivers can learn, share, and feel accompanied, while also accessing valuable resources designed to strengthen skills at home and across everyday environments.

We are also proud of how ABS Community has created meaningful spaces for learning and reflection. These platforms have helped us share knowledge, elevate voices, and bring ABA concepts into conversations that feel approachable, culturally responsive, and genuinely useful for families and professionals alike.

Parent training has also expanded significantly, with growing participation both in person and online. At our Phoenix Therapy Center, we’ve seen stronger caregiver engagement, with more families choosing to take part in group learning opportunities and ongoing support. This growth reflects something we value deeply: when caregivers feel empowered, progress becomes more consistent, more meaningful, and more sustainable across settings.

As we grow, we remain deeply committed to accountability and continuous improvement. We have been, and continue to be, audited, and we take that responsibility seriously. These ongoing reviews strengthen our systems and keep us focused on delivering high-quality services supported by thorough, clear, and clinically sound documentation. As we step into the new year, we are moving forward with intention—investing in training, strengthening our standards, and ensuring our team remains prepared, aligned, and truly committed to the level of quality families deserve.

All of this growth reflects the ABS dream coming true step by step. The dream is not a single milestone; it is a path we build together through consistency, ethical practice, and a commitment to quality. With each new family we support, each new community space we create, and each new opportunity to educate and collaborate, we are also opening the door to more achievements ahead—more impact, more connection, and more reasons to celebrate what is possible.

To every family who invited us into your journey, thank you. To every team member who helped transform plans into progress, thank you. We’re proud of what we built together this year, and we’re ready to continue—step by step—toward what comes next.
